Dr. Ephias Ruhode DTech, IDBS Certified Digital Transformation Executive (CDTE)

Bio

Ephias is an executive board member at the IDBS. He  is a valuable member of the organizational leadership as a driver of Digital Transformation research. He currently serves as the Associate Professor of Transdisciplinary Studies with research interests in internet and social innovation, e-government, e-health, innovative e-Business models, social networks and society, technology use for sustainable development, etc. He is an information technology and qualified business model innovation and research professional with a total of 25 years of work experience. He holds a Doctor of Technology Degree in Information Technology, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and undergraduate qualifications in computing. He has coordinated large collaborative projects, most notably, the Learning Network of networks on Sustainability (LeNSin). In addition to supervising masters and doctoral research projects, he is the Research Coordinator in the Faculty of Informatics and Design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa.
